The next meeting of the Tipperary Amateur Radio Group will be held at The Park Hotel, Clonmel on Thursday the 7th of May 2015 at 8.30pm. This meeting is open to all and Short Wave Listeners are in particular very welcome to attend. At our recently held March meeting, Oliver, ON4EI/EI8GQB dropped in to say hi. He outlined to the group some of is preparatory work in advance of CQ WW WPX SSB Contest. Fingers crossed he does as well this time as he did last year. The meeting continued quite late into the evening with lots being discussed.

February Meeting

This meeting is open to all and Short Wave Listeners are in particular very welcome to attend. A number of radio related topics are up for discussion as well as plans for participation in upcoming radio related events.
December Meeting.
Rather than have a meeting in December, the consensus at last weeks AGM was to meet for a few drinks instead, so it is planned to meet up on Saturday evening the 10th of December about 21:00 in Moynihans Bar, 4 Gladstone Street, Clonmel. All are welcome.
May Meeting – Postponed
Due to unforeseen circumstances, TARG have had to delay their monthly meeting.
The next meeting of TARG will take place on Thursday the 14th of May, in Raheen House, Clonmel at 20:00. Discussions will focus on upcoming field day activities. All are welcome.

The next monthly meeting of the Tipperary Amateur Radio Group will take place on Thursday next (Tomorrow) the 2nd of October at 8.00 pm in Raheen House Hotel, Raheen Road Clonmel.
VHF/UHF Field Day
EI2IT, EI3ENB and EI7IG ventured into County Waterford for this years VHF/UHF Field day. Conditions weren’t the best either weather wise or rf wise, but they persevered and EI7T/P was heard on the bands.
