July is (almost) over, don’t forget to send your UHF logs off to the IRTS contest manager, also we have a meeting Thursday night, 20:00 Raheen House Clonmel, I hope to see you there.
It was great to see so many at a meeting last night. Considering the terrible weather it was very impressive. Good luck to those operating for the VHF/UHF Field Day this weekend, and we would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone to submit logs of your 70cms contacts during the month of July for the Slievenamon Shield.
Looking forward to seeing everyone on Thursday evening (5th). As normal, the meeting is in Raheen House Clonmel, Co. Tipperary at 20:00, call in is on S18. All are welcome.
It was decided on Sunday evening, not to have a Club meeting this coming Thursday, as most of us had enough ‘radiospeak’ last weekend.
Meeting cancelled due to a bereavement in the Family of a club member. Contact John, EI7IG for further information, 086-8167310.
While we realise that its very close to the new year, but we thought we would go ahead with a meeting anyway. So we look forward to seeing as many as can make it on Thursday night (4th January).
Wishing all the best to you and yours from the Committee of Tipperary Amateur Radio Group.
de John, EI7IG
Many thanks to all who turned up, the consensus is that a great night was had by all (we are still waiting to hear reports back from the ‘early’ crew). There was some talk of a ‘social events’ committe being formed, discussions are ongoing.
Happy Christmas to all!
